The Rotary Club of Concord will be raising money and awareness for Shelter Box, a Rotary partner 501c3 that provides emergency housing to those displaced by natural disaster or conflict.  Concord Rotarians will be setting up and displaying a Shelter Box at multiple town events to answer questions about this life saving initiative.

The club’s 2nd annual Oktoberfest will take place September 30th at Verrill Farm.  Shelter Box will be the benefactor of this year’s event.  We have set a goal of purchasing 20 Shelter Boxes with the proceeds of Oktoberfest.

Each Shelter Box provides temporary housing for up to 10 people.  In areas of the world that have been devastated by hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, or war, Shelter Box is there.  Each Shelter Box costs $1,000.  Additionally, supporters can fund a Shelter Box repair kit for $100.

Please join us in supporting this important cause.

Come to Oktoberfest September 30.
