Are you interested in using your talent and skills to help other Rotary clubs succeed? Rotary District 7910 is actively recruiting volunteers to help lead the district over the next couple of years.

The following are some of the key roles that we are seeking to fill:

Assistant Governors – Assistant Governors (AG’s) are responsible for helping get clubs the resources they need to succeed.  AG’s advise and work with their clubs, as well as bring district and multi club opportunities to their clubs’ attention. Most AG’s will work with 2-4 clubs. AG’s are also the future leaders of our District.  You must be a past club president to qualify for this position.

Public Image Committee – We need help with all aspects of public image and public relations within our District.  Some of the key subcommittees where you can lend your talent involve the district communications, including the newsletter, website, and social media; club PR support, and club imaging and branding. All club PR chairs are members of this committee and we are looking for Rotarians to lead in each of these subcommittees.

Membership Committee – The membership committee is responsible for educating clubs on attracting and retaining members, promoting new membership types and meeting flexibility, creating new clubs, fostering networking and friendship through fellowships and friendship exchanges, and providing recognition to clubs and their members. All club membership chairs are members of this committee and we are looking for Rotarians to bring new ideas to each of these subcommittees.

Service Committee – The service committee helps promote project ideas to the clubs and encourages multi-club activities. The focus is on developing hand-on service opportunities rather than fundraising and grant management.

We have needs for many other roles if you are interested in helping out.  Here’s your opportunity to make a difference. For more information and/or to volunteer for a district leadership role, contact District Governor Elect, Steve Sager at ssager@sagerlegal.com
