The Rotary Club of Brookline is proud to announce that five exceptional local high school students have been selected to attend the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards (RYLA) conference. This intensive leadership training program will take place June 26-28 at Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, MA.
RYLA is Rotary’s premier leadership development program, designed to bring together sophomores to develop their leadership skills, build confidence, and connect with other young leaders in the community. Throughout the three-day conference, the students will participate in interactive workshops, team-building exercises, and hear from inspiring guest speakers.
"We are absolutely thrilled to sponsor these incredible young leaders this year," said Candace Cramer, President of the Rotary Club of Brookline. “RYLA offers a life-changing opportunity for students to discover their potential, push out of their comfort zones, and learn the core values of service and collaborative leadership.”
This year’s selected delegates are all sophomores at Brookline High School:
Albert Feldkamp, Natalia Griffin, Sofia Laforest, Amarachi Okeke, and Casan Wilson.
The Rotary Club of Brookline covers all expenses for the participants, ensuring these driven students can focus entirely on learning and personal growth without financial burden. Upon their return, the students will share their experiences and newly acquired skills with the local community.
