Dear Fellow Rotarians:
Most clubs have similar challenges, whether it be . . .
  • Engaging New members quickly to increase satisfaction and reduce retention issues;
  • Organizing meetings that are informative and fun, to re-engage established members;
  • Breaking the common 80/20 ratio “Amount of Work Done” / “% of Total Membership”;
  • Building a pipeline of more informed members and potential Club leaders.
RLI is a GREAT solution to these issues, and is coming to District 7910 on
Saturday January 26, 2019 in Marlborough, MA!
The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a multi-district, grassroots leadership development program of member districts organized into regional divisions in various parts of the world.
Now is the time to start discussing RLI within your Club so everyone can explore how RLI can benefit individually as well as the Club as a whole.  Anyone who has not experienced RLI won’t want to miss this opportunity to participate in what I believe is the BEST training about Rotary.  The RLI website provides great information about the program and is where Rotarians can register today. Tuition for this Rotary year has been set at $115, which includes breakfast, lunch and all materials.
Does your Club offer RLI Scholarships or a Reimbursement plan?
Most Rotarians who have gone through RLI realize that, in addition to preparing future Club leaders, the program helps on-board new members so they can assimilate quicker and re-energizes existing members, thus driving increased engagement, enjoyment and retention. In fact, many clubs have seen such an impact from RLI that they send and pay for all new Rotarians to attend Part 1 as part of their on-boarding process.  Some clubs provide “scholarships” to all members seeking to attend any of the three Parts, as an investment in the future vitality of the Club. Our District goal is to have at least two Rotarians from each Club attending RLI on 1/26/19.  Don’t procrastinate, talk with your fellow Rotarians and register today for this great learning experience interacting with Rotarians from across our District and District 7930 and District 7950.
