It was a sincere honor to serve as your District Governor and I am leaving the District in the capable hands of Elliott, Joyce and Johnny. I am not disappearing from District duties, but will step aside and focus on the various initiatives that I helped start this year.

This past year, we have slowly emerged from the pandemic. Our clubs have been performing more service projects, culminating in our Day of Service. We have reinstated in-person District events (July Installation, District Leadership dinner, Foundation dinner, Holiday dinner, RLI, NEPETS, District Training Assembly, District Conference and coming soon, RYLA. But we still have much work to do. We have made major strides in building our PI committee and need help to build up our Membership committee, as some of our clubs are struggling with declining membership.
Lastly, before July please remember to contribute to The Rotary Foundation Annual Fund-Share if you haven’t done so already. And remember that many companies will match employee charitable contributions.
Yours in Rotary,
Dr Victor, District Governor 2022-23
