Rotarians from the Rotary Clubs of Leominster and Fitchburg worked with city and school officials, and volunteers to host their annual Breakfast for the Bands (BFB) on November 20th, 2022 at Leominster High School. This event, hosted by both clubs, is in its 26th year of providing support to both band boosters and they have hit a record of $15,000 raised for 2022! Since its debut in 1995, these two clubs have raised and donated over $125,000 to both school music programs thanks to the generosity and support of local businesses and donors.
The Breakfast for the Bands, spearheaded by John Tata (Leominster) and Paul Gavin (Fitchburg), alternates between Leominster High School and Fitchburg High School each year and both bands showcase their talents during the breakfast to its attendees. Rotarians and volunteers spend the entire morning cooking and serving a delicious breakfast that gets better each year. Raffle items are also donated to increase the funds raised to support these schools.

On February 8th, 2023, Presidents Johnny Ahern (Leominster) and Alex Vera (Fitchburg) hosted the BFB Check Presentation Dinner at Brady's in downtown Leominster. After an evening of socializing, camaraderie, and fellowship, they presented the High School Music Boosters with checks for their portion of the proceeds raised. In a record setting year, each check was made out in the amount of $7,500!

Great job Rotarians!
