On 29 April 2025, the Lowell Rotary served 140 hot meals to the needy in Lowell with the assistance of the Westford Rotary.St. Paul's Kitchen provides hot meals five nights per week to all who need them. They seek sponsors, so the Lowell Rotary applied for and received a grant to provide meals on two occasions. We developed the menu, purchased the food and supplies, prepared the meal, served the meal, and cleaned up. Participants included eight Lowell Rotarians, spouses, Westford Rotarians, a spouse, and a Lowell City Councilman. We received nice publicity from the Lowell Sun newspaper.
