Become a Collaborating Club: When your club donates $100 to End Polio Now, you'll be listed as a participating Club on event promotion materials on both District's website and other communication channels and you will receive one $50 gift card to use at Revolution Hall on October 24. Promotion, Presence & Participation: The Districts and all participating Clubs will promote attendance on October 24 and encourage donations to End Polio Now before and at the event. At the event, Rotary can have a presence, "staffed" by "your" Clubs, to talk up End Polio Now, Rotary, and encourage donations. We hope many members of your Club will show up, raise a pint, and share some fellowship with diverse Rotarians.
Rotary vs. PolioThe eradication of polio is one of our longest standing and most significant efforts. Along with our partners, we have helped immunize more than 2.5 billion children against polio in 122 countries.
We have reduced polio cases by 99.9 percent worldwide and we won't stop until we end the disease for good.
Since 1988, we've seen a worldwide reduction in polio cases of 99.9%. Only two countries remain polio-endemic: Afghanistan and Pakistan.
