On Monday evening, 10/29/18,  8 district Rotaractors from 3 of our five clubs met with District Governor, Steve Sager; Governor Nominee and Youth Chair, Diana Nestorova; and Rotaract Chair, Susan Rack, in Framingham for pizza, information sharing and fellowship.  The clubs represented were Boston University Rotaract Club, Worcester Polytechnic Institute Rotaract Club, and the community based Wellesley Rotaract Club.
All three clubs were enthusiastic about their Rotary experience and shared their energy and commitment not only with each other but with advisor, Frank Rowbotham, one of the Wellesley advisors and with the District officers present.  These Rotaractors shared their plans for inspiring projects, ranging from tutoring, college application counseling; volunteering in soup kitchens; teaching healthy cooking classes with low income families; and joining District clubs in celebrating Purple Pinky Day.  They are each actively making a difference in their local communities and inspiring all of us!  This is leadership in the making.  Please keep the Rotaract clubs in mind when planning your service projects.  These Rotaractors would love to help out on Rotary Club service projects, and would love the mentoring when planning projects and fundraisers.
