District 7910 has formed a Social Equity Task Force. This group will address issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion within our clubs and our communities.
Following the lead of Rotary International and districts around us such as District 7930, we are looking to take on this important topic. We have the following initial strategies:
- Conduct diversity, equity, and inclusion training
- Help our clubs build memberships that reflect their community
- Perform targeting of community giveback initiatives
- Increase minorities in leadership positions
The Social Equity Task Force has met a couple times now, and is looking for additional members eho are passionate about this subject.
