Do you know of medical-device manufacturers based in the United States who may want to either donate or sell at a deep discount at least $25,000 worth of battlefield-quality tourniquets for emergency-response efforts in war-torn Ukraine? These devices are used for stopping the flow of blood through a vein or artery - typically by compressing a limb with a cord or tight bandage.

To help with this worthy - and urgent - cause to provide U.S-made, battlefield-quality tourniquets to Ukraine as soon as possible, contact Steve Jones-D'Agostino, of the Rotary Club of Acton-Boxborough, stevejondag@gmail.com.

The Rotary Foundation, a charitable, not-for-profit organization with $2 billion in assets, is leading a worldwide effort to provide emergency supplies and goods to Ukraine. District 7910 is working with several other districts worldwide, including ones in Ukraine, to support this valiant effort. The Rotary Club of Cherkasy, in Ukraine, has produced a presentation, "Not wrong, just different. War in Ukraine." To download this presentation in PDF format, either click here or on the image at right.

Together, let’s build peace in Ukraine. We can do so by helping to coordinate efforts in medical-aid and humanitarian projects with  both Ukraine's Rotary District 2232 and the International Rotary Fellowship of Healthcare Professionals.
