To help mark World Polio Day 2020, which was on October 24, both the Rotary Club of Brookline and Rotary International produced polio-eradication videos.

Joyce Graff, website chair of the Rotary Club of Brookline and chair of the District Polio Committee, has produced a video that helps young people - specifically, Rotaractors - relate to PolioPlus. Excerpts are liberally borrowed from prior polio videos and from discussion with members of the Rotaract Club of Boston University giving the message a wider reach. The Brookline club invites you to attend our club assembly and polio update this Thursday, November 5 at 12:00 noon via Zoom. To login, click here.

Rotary International has also released the official Polio Day video. To watch the 32-minute video, click here. Every year on October 24, World Polio Day presents a global opportunity to rally around the fight to eradicate the disease forever. This year's theme is, “A win against polio is a win for global health.” To learn more and to donate, click here.
