Because February is Rotary Month on Peace and Conflict Prevention/Resolution, the focus of District Governor Diana Nestorova's monthly Open Doors session was "Resilience in Our Time: Thriving versus Surviving." We heard from Nabil Oudeh, one of the best presenters in Rotary on conflict resolution. He's from Ottawa, Canada, and is a past district governor of District 7040 as well as a Rotary International training facilitator.

Nabil is a frequent speaker and presenter at Rotary conferences, District Training Assemblies, Regional President-Elect Trainings, Rotary Youth Leadership Awards, and Rotaract Conferences.
He has held a variety of leadership positions at all levels in Rotary, including president of the Rotary Club of Ottawa, general chair of Rotary Zones 28-32's Zones Institutes, Rotary International Training leader for two terms, and Rotary International's president’s representative, along with many other positions.
Nabil presented Resilience and Peace: Conflict Prevention in Times of Crisis. This session was free - and open to both Rotarians and non-Rotarians.
