The Rotary Club of Westborough has landed two stories in a local weekly newspaper. One, is on a 2019 service trip to Guatemala. The other, is on bringing back an annual holiday event to Westborough.
Club member Betsy Moquin was instrumental in getting published a story on the Westborough club's connection to Guatemala through a stove project, which happened during club Past President Steve Sager’s year as district governor. Titled "Westborough Rotary Club lends hearts and hands to communities in Guatemala," the story also reported on an ambulance and a fire truck that the club helped to purchase. A separate story, titled "Westborough Rotary Club presents winter season illumination plan," reported on the Westborough club's working with the Town of Westboro. Their goal is to renew the town's annual Holiday Light Display.
