The Rotary Club of Westborough's Committee on the Environment will collect recyclable plastics during its seventh Trex Plastics Challenge, this Saturday, February 27 from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at Kohls retail store in Northborough.
We encourage everyone to bring their plastic collection directly to Kohls at this scheduled time. Please note the earlier-than-usual time.During our last collection drive, on February 13, we collected 87 pounds of film plastics. Since we started last November, our cumulative total is at 813 pounds of this material, which would otherwise have ended in landfills, water bodies or oceans.
