As we move into November — Rotary Foundation Month — I’m filled with gratitude for the energy, compassion, and dedication I’ve witnessed across District 7910. Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of visiting 44 of our 47 clubs, and each visit has reaffirmed what makes our district so remarkable: the commitment to “Service Above Self” and the spirit of fellowship that connects us all.
Rotary is on the move in District 7910—and soon, our communities will see it the moment they drive into town! A huge thank you to the District 7910 Trustees for their recent approval of the purchase of FOUR brand-new road signs for every Rotary club in District 7910 to help strengthen Rotary’s visibility and present a fresh, unified image across the district. This will include two reflective and two non-reflective signs (18"H x 24"L)

The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a multi-district, grassroots leadership development program of member districts organized into regional divisions in various parts of the world.
RLI is a recommended program of Rotary International.
RLI seeks to provide quality education in Rotary knowledge and leadership skills to Rotarians interested in developing their Rotary participation and to those identified by Rotary Clubs as having potential in club leadership. These educational opportunities will teach skills that will benefit the members in their lives and in their volunteer service.

Sunday, November 9, at 4 pm, the Social Justice Choir of Southeastern Massachusetts together with Opus for Peace will present a choral program "We Shall Not Be Moved," exploring issues of the role of music-making in a troubled world. The program will be held in the Horace Mann Auditorium at Bridgewater State University, 131 Summer St, Bridgewater, MA 02324
We are hosting a cornhole tournament at Eastwood Club, to raising money for our scholarship for Fitchburg resident seniors for class of 2026. We are hosting our event on November 9, 2025 we are going to have a food truck on site, bucket of beers to purchase, raffles and 50/50 raffles. This month, we'll explore the intersection and overlap of business and service, acknowledging that "service" has many meanings. One relates to the service of our veterans whose contributions are recognized on November 11th.
Marlborough Rotary Club’s 43rd annual Turkey Shoot is a longstanding tradition in Marlborough which draws 700 people annually for a fun Family-Friendly event. On the Saturday before Thanksgiving we gather at Assabet Valley regional Vocational school in the Cafeteria at 6pm for a night of festive fun that is so unusual it has to be experienced!
On 29 November, during the Lowell annual Festival of Lights, the Lowell Rotary will be selling marshmallows for toasting to raise money for our annual scholarships.

On Saturday, October 19, District 7910's Youth Exchange Committee hosted eight students from four Rotary districts for the very American tradition of picking apples and making apple pie. The day turned out to be beautiful and warm -- perfect for picking apples at Tougas Farm in Northborough and making apple pies to take home to host families.
Quality inclusive education took center stage worldwide on October 24–25 at the second annual Inclusive Education Summit, hosted by the Rotary Club of World Disability Advocacy, District 7910. Across 18 continuous hours, the summit united a global community around one clear purpose: remove barriers so every child can learn and belong.
RYLANs, their parents, and Club members joined to celebrate the BEST RYLA EVER and hear about how it changed the lives of these amazing students. The students shared their experiences and the ways they look at the world differently, and the things they do that they would not have had the courage to do before.

The Chelmsford Rotary Club held our Second Annual Children's Halloween Party at the Chelmsford Center for the Arts on October 25th. Dozens of local children and their parents attended the event, held on a beautiful fall day in New England, with proceeds going to the End Polio Now program.
BVR's Golfing for Good tournament attracted a great bunch of golfers who enjoyed a beautiful day on the course. They and others gave generously through sponsorships and raffles to help double the amount raised from our previous tournament!
Members of the Blackstone Valley Rotary showed up to support and cheer on athletes competing in the Unibank Greenway Challenge as they finished this multi-sport event to raise funds for the Whitin Community Center (where the Club meets).

Public Image Primer: 3 Rotary Logos Do's and Don'ts
1. DO use your custom Club logo all the time. DG Elliott's Westborough Club's logo is perfect. If you're not using a logo that looks similar, you can find your Club logo in this folder. If you're club is using the "old" wheel/gear/cog that has yellow and blue, you gotta change it.
2. DON'T use the Rotary "Mark of Excellence" for your Club's program, event, or anything. Use your Club's custom logo for everything.
3. DON'T use the Presidential "Create Hope in the World" theme logo for anything that will go to folks who are not Rotary members. That's why the banner at the top of this newsletter no longer has the logo below.
To conform to Rotary's brand guidelines, you'll have the easiest time if you never use that logo at all, beautiful as it may be.
