District 7910's newly formed Diverse Abilities United Committee is dedicated to the diversity and inclusion of the differently abled people in Rotary.
The DAU Committee has set goals focusing on improving disability-awareness, -inclusion and -accessibility procedures, and supporting our local clubs as well as clubs globally through Rotary International.
The DAU Committee believes disabilities are important parts of diversity and inclusion, but do not get the recognition, attention and/or understanding they deserve. The committee also believe this is not only a local challenge to overcome but also a global issue to address.
The DAU Committee meets every Monday at 10:00 a.m. via Zoom. We welcomes new members who are: either disabled or non-disabled; either Rotarians or non-Rotarians; and, from anywhere in the world.
The activities the DAU Committee is working on include social media, presentations, videos, speakers, podcasts, writing articles, and so much more.
