Following its 9th Annual Charity Golf Classic at Chase Golf Club in Southbridge, the Sturbridge Rotary Club was able to make a generous $13,000 donation to the St. John Paul II Food Pantry at their September 1st club meeting.

43 golfers participated and enjoyed this event on a day with wonderful weather, a tasty dinner, silent auction and sportsmanship, fellowship & fun. Donations provided to the pantry, serves the Southbridge and Sturbridge community, but all are welcome.
The pantry feeds approximately 230 families, including 95 senior families; about 800 people.
Father Carlos Ruiz, Pastor of St. John Paul II parish, joined the club meeting to receive the donation and share his thanks.
